Nestled in the Blue Hills of Massachusetts, Wollaston Golf Club features a 6,748 yard course designed by George and Tom Fazio. The front nine is framed by tall pines and ponds while the back nine opens up ending with a challenging uphill 421 yard Par 4. The closing hole plays much longer than the yardage on the card due to a severe uphill approach shot to the undulated green.

History

Wollaston Golf Club grew out of a passion for the game of golf and the dedication of neighborhood friends led by Wendell G. Corthell in 1893. Officially founded in 1895, Wollaston established roots in Quincy, where the Presidents course is currently located. It was there at the Wollaston Golf Club where Francis Ouimet won the Massachusetts Amateur in 1913.

In October of 1969 at a meeting of the Membership of Wollaston Golf Club, it was voted to acquire 152 acres of land off of Randolph Avenue in Milton. The first nine holes were completed in 1975 and by the spring of 1976, the course was ready for tournament play. Club Championship and Fallon Cup Tournaments in 1976 were all contested at the new course, in 1992, Tiger Woods won his second U. S. Junior Championship at Wollaston and, in 1993, James McDonough played his first round at Wollaston, his new home away from home.
